Hog hunt pictures

Well the hog hunt was a blast. The place we hunted in South Alabama was almost 2000 acres and absolutely loaded with pigs. We had a 5.5 mile ride in by fourwheeler for each hunt which was a little cold, but well worth it to reach the bottom we were hunting on the Tombigbee River. We ended up getting 6 pigs in 3 days.

Here is the largest one I got, the rest were smaller around 60# or so.

Some more.

A huge hog rub I found on a tree. Hope I can get a shot at this one in January or February.

A big bodied 9 point that was taken yesterday afternoon. The deer was one of two bucks taken while we were there and both were around the 200# mark.

Hog hunting

Postby brotherhick on Mon Feb 16, 2009 5:19 am

SBE,

Great pics. man. I was fortunate enough to be able to go boar hunting myself when I turned 16 which was about five years ago and I was able to take down about a 200 lb. boar with my trusty .300 WSM. Boar hunting is amazing, just for the fact that if you miss you better be able to reload fast of high tail it up the nearest tree. I plan on going again in the future except that this next time Im gonna try to take one with my bow. I appresciate the pics though keep em rolling in.
